Mmm...Strawberry Goodness

Looking for a fun dessert to bring to a holiday party? May I present you with these?

Want the recipe? Even those these babies look complicated, they are simple and probably took us 20 minutes to make.

Strawberries, Raspberries, really any berry that you want!
1 brick of cream cheese softened
1/3 cup of sugar
Cool Whip
Chocolate Chips

Hollow out the inside of the Strawberries. I use this or something close to it from Pampered Chef. Mix together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Then slowly fold in Cool Whip. Pipe the mixture into/or on your fruit. I used a zip loc bag with a hole in the corner. Finish up by melting your chocolate chips (I create my own double boiler on the stove) and then drizzle, or pipe (but careful it's hot) over the fruit!

That's it! It's a light (meaning not going to stuff you full) dessert that is easy to make, tastes delicious and I'd like to believe somewhat good for me. You know with all that fruit! :) Enjoy!

  1. MMMMmmmmmm that looks so good! You always were the dessert maker, but funny because you don't have a huge sweet tooth.

    These look good and healthy!

  2. I LOVE making desserts, but once I get a taste, then I'm good. :) Now cooking is a whole different thing! Sigh...
