On Frozen (The movie, soundtrack, and anything else you can think of)!

So, we bought Frozen. Yes, the mom who never, ever, ever, buys Disney movies, or really even cares for Disney decided to go ahead with buying Frozen. Unlike most people, we hadn't seen it in the theater first. I have a hard time spending that much money on the theater when I knew I could just buy the movie or rent it for $1 just a few months later.

Last Tuesday, the girls used a Target gift card and bought it. If you follow me on Facebook at all, you saw that the girls were literally counting down the hours until they could buy it. To be honest, I was pretty excited to see what all the hype was about and if it really was worth it. One time of watching it and I completely fell in love.

20 years ago, I loved, I mean loved The Lion King. I bought the cassette tape soundtrack with my own money and played that all the time. Some of the reason for that may have been because Jonathan Taylor Thomas played a young Simba. ;) 20 years later, my girls are loving Frozen as much as I loved The Lion King and I have to admit, it is incredibly sweet to watch them dance and sing to it.

What I wasn't expecting is the fact that they would listen to the soundtrack all the time! They dress up, try and fix their hair, and then sing their little hearts out! Unbeknown to me, they grabbed my iPad and started to take selfie videos of themselves singing the different songs. I know that there are 1,000 other covers of Let it Go on Youtube, and if not that particular song, definitely some song from Frozen. However, I just had to add this adorable video Zoelle took. Enjoy and don't mind the crazy hair, and dirty play clothes. Also, slight dizziness may happen while watching a selfie video made by a 6 year old who is trying to be Elsa! ;)

While I wasn't originally intending to share two videos, I found this gem of Love Is an Open Door and was dying of laughter, literally dying! Her expressions and her enthusiasm for the song made me laugh so hard!

I'm quite certain that somewhere at my parent's house is a video or cassette tape recording of me singing The Lion King, "I Just Can't Wait to Be King!" with just as much enthusiasm as these two songs! I wonder where she gets it from? :)

Have you and your children seen Frozen? Did you love it as much as we do?

  1. Although the sport could look tough, this web page will help any player perceive the completely different bets {that can be|that could be} made on the dice table. At the beginning of the sport, Players have the opportunity to participate in 1xbet korea an optional bonus wager which may be placed in opposition to a posted pay table. The consequence of the bonus wager has no bearing on another wages placed by the Player. Sure, we’ve obtained 26 table games, but what do all of them have in common? That’s what makes Silverton Casino such a preferred selection for each seasoned gamers and newbies alike.
