On blogging {or my lack thereof}

Today is the first day in weeks that I've had time to sit down and actually blog. I've been so busy these last few weeks that I haven't even had time to do my Wordless Wednesday posts. Sometimes, I'm ok with not blogging, but other times my perfectionist side comes out in me and I feel like I'm lacking in keeping a good record of the girls' childhood. Then it hits me that I haven't made a Shutterfly book in years, nor have I made my blog into a scrapbook like I said I would. Sigh...maybe a winter project? At least I have all my pictures organized on my computer.

To be honest, sometimes I feel as if I fail at blogging. I'm not a fashion blogger because I'm not that into fashion, nor do I have the money to put towards me. I'd rather spend that on my house or girls. I don't have a Pinterest worthy home to blog about. Nor am I very crafty. I still find myself struggling to cook gluten free, and we all know I don't meal plan very well, so a food blogger would not be for me.

So where does that leave me in the blogging world? A mom who is blogging about my life with three girls, in three years. A homeschooling mama who isn't sure she is cut out for it. A woman who is so tired at the end of the day, she falls asleep at 10 pm when she used to stay up way past that.

Seeking Peace

Basically, I've been crying out to Jesus a lot these days! There has been a lot of stress and sometimes I don't actually feel like blogging it all out.

It's a pretty eventful, but boring life that I'm pretty sure everyone out there experiences at one time or another! But it's a life I haven't had time to write about, and that makes things harder for me as I de-stress and process through my writing.

These next few weeks I'm going to try and do my best to commit to blogging. I'll try to catch you up on my summer (I'd also love to hear about yours). Lastly, we can talk about Fall, Downton Abbey, my love of Salted Caramel Mochas, what I'm reading right now, and anything else that strikes either your fancy or mine! I'm looking forward to connecting with you all again and gaining back a little piece of my sanity while doing it! :)

Catch me up on your life in the comments! I'd love to hear about your adventures! If you blog, please link me to your blog as I'd love to stop by.
